Cleaning equipment refers to a class of devices specifically designed to reduce dust concentration in workshops and optimize the production environment, widely used in the feed industry. These devices mainly include dust collectors and powder cleaning screens. Dust collectors, through efficient filtration systems, effectively capture fine dust particles in the air, preventing dust pollution and improving air quality; powder cleaning screens quickly and effectively remove substandard particles, ensuring material purity and production stability. This equipment not only enhances the safety of the working environment and reduces the health hazards of dust to employees, but also extends the lifespan of production equipment and increases production efficiency.
Cleaning equipment features a compact design, small footprint, and ease of installation and maintenance. Its high efficiency and stability make it an ideal choice for feed processing workshops, especially providing strong support in environments requiring large-scale dust control. By employing advanced filtration technology and a rational layout, cleaning equipment can significantly reduce dust concentration in production workshops, creating a cleaner and more comfortable working environment.

Goldlong Machinery And Engineering Co., Ltd. designs and builds Custom Feed Pre-Cleaner equipment at our own manufacturing facility in Liyang City, Jiangsu Province, China. Our pre-cleaner range is supplied as individual machines or as part of a complete feed mill, grain receiving, or biomass processing line. We are a Custom Feed Pre-Cleaner Manufacturers supplier that carries the project from requirement analysis and process design through manufacturing, installation, commissioning, training, and spare parts service.
Pre-cleaning is the first mechanical treatment that raw ingredients receive. It protects hammer mills, mixers, pellet mills, and extruders from stones, metal, straw, husks, dust, and oversize or compacted fractions. Our two machine families cover whole-grain and powder applications with capacities from 10 t/h up to 120 t/h.
Our Pre-Cleaner category currently includes two machine families. Each is configured around the material being cleaned, the target capacity, and the space available in the existing or new line.
For whole grain, maize, wheat, soybean, and other granular raw materials. Available in SCY50, SCY63, SCY80, SCY100, and SCY130, with capacity from 10–20 t/h to 80–100 t/h and installed power from 0.55 kW to 1.5 kW. The reverse feeding design and spiral discharge section inside the screen cylinder improve screening efficiency, while the cleaning mechanism on the outer wall reduces screen blinding. Screen aperture combinations are selected according to the impurities to be removed and the size distribution of the usable grain.
For powdery materials such as maize meal, bran, premix base powders, and other ingredients that tend to form clumps. The SQLZ series breaks up and removes clumps and oversized particles while maintaining high output and low power consumption. Standard models SQLZ60X50X100, SQLZ75X65X140, and SQLZ125X100X200 cover 40–50, 50–70, and 100–120 t/h at 5.5, 7.5, and 15 kW. Different sizes of sieve holes can be fitted to match the required separation effect.
| Model | Capacity (t/h) | Power (kW) | Typical Application |
|---|---|---|---|
| SCY50 | 10–20 | 0.55 | Whole grain pre-cleaning before grinding or storage |
| SCY63 | 20–40 | 0.75 | Grain intake and pre-grinding cleaning |
| SCY80 | 40–60 | 1.1 | High-capacity grain receiving lines |
| SCY100 | 60–80 | 1.5 | Large feed mill intake systems |
| SCY130 | 80–100 | 1.5 | Commercial grain terminals and feed mills |
| SQLZ60X50X100 | 40–50 | 5.5 | Powder cleaning and de-lumping |
| SQLZ75X65X140 | 50–70 | 7.5 | Meal and premix powder circuits |
| SQLZ125X100X200 | 100–120 | 15 | Central milling and large feed plants |
In a typical feed mill, the pre-cleaner is installed after the intake hopper and before the bucket elevator or directly before the hammer mill. For grain intake, the SCY series removes straw, stones, soil, broken grain, and oversized impurities before storage or further cleaning. For powder systems, the SQLZ series is positioned before mixing or dosing to remove clumps and oversized particles that affect weighing and mixing accuracy.
Pre-cleaning directly protects downstream machines such as our Hammer Mill, Mixer, and Pellet Mill. In turnkey projects, the cleaning step is interlocked with bucket elevators, screw conveyors, rotary sifters, and dust collection so the whole line starts and stops in a safe sequence.
Pre-cleaners are selected on working capacity, not average throughput, because raw material intake is often delivered in surges. We confirm the required flow, impurity level, and available height before proposing a model.
Each pre-cleaner is manufactured under ERP-controlled workshop management and inspected before shipment for performance, stability, safety, and full system operation. When the project requires a non-standard interface, we can develop and manufacture from customer drawings or samples.
We supply pre-cleaners as single machines for replacement and as integrated equipment in turnkey feed projects. The same engineering team handles process design, equipment manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and training.
To prepare an accurate proposal, we need the operating context of the pre-cleaner. The more complete this information is, the closer the delivered machine will be to your requirement.
The SCY Series Rotary Pre-Cleaning Sieve is designed for granular materials such as maize, wheat, and soybeans. It removes large impurities, broken grains, and oversize materials before grinding or storage. The SQLZ Powder Cleaning Sieve is designed for powdery materials that tend to clump, such as maize meal and bran. It breaks up and removes clumps while keeping high throughput.
Yes. Both the SCY and SQLZ ranges accept different screen aperture sizes. We select the aperture combination based on your raw material, the impurities to be removed, and the desired separation effect. This is confirmed during the proposal phase.
Yes. We regularly supply pre-cleaners for retrofit projects. We verify the available footprint, connection height, and existing conveying arrangement, then propose the model and interface. Installation can be done by our team or under our guidance.
We provide a dedicated after-sales service team, remote diagnostics, regular follow-ups, and a 24-hour rapid response mechanism. Common wear parts and critical components are stocked for fast replacement, and we provide operation and maintenance training.
Our feed machinery and turnkey projects have been delivered to Europe, Asia, and Africa, including Russia, Romania, Indonesia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iran, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan. We adapt motor voltage, documentation, and language requirements for the destination.
For a precise quotation, include raw material type, impurity profile, target capacity in t/h, process position, screen aperture preference, available height and footprint, power supply, and whether the machine is for a new line or retrofit. These details let us propose the correct model and integration scope.
