Extrusion equipment is primarily used for producing various types of extruded feed, widely applied in aquaculture, pet farming, and poultry farming. It can meet the production needs of different types of feed, including shrimp, eel, bullfrog, dog meat, and ornamental fish. This equipment achieves excellent maturation through a dual-shaft differential conditioner, effectively adding fish oil, lecithin, fish lysate, and other ingredients to enhance the nutritional value and palatability of the feed. The equipment supports the production of both floating and sinking feeds, exhibiting excellent water stability, uniform particle size, and a high feed conversion ratio. The equipment uses imported high-quality bearings and is equipped with a spindle box circulating lubrication system to ensure stable transmission during long-term operation and extend the equipment's service life.

As Custom Feed Extruder Machine Manufacturers, Goldlong Machinery And Engineering Co., Ltd. designs and builds extrusion systems for aqua, pet, and poultry feed producers. Our SPHS Series is used for continuous production of floating and sinking pellets from roughly 1 mm to 12 mm, with the flexibility to add liquid ingredients through a dual-shaft differential conditioner. We supply the extruder as a stand-alone unit or as part of a complete feed production line with grinding, mixing, drying, coating, cooling, and conveying equipment.
Extrusion cooking is the key process step when the feed formula needs high starch gelatinization, controlled density, and stable particles in water. The SPHS extruder uses a dual-shaft differential conditioner to pre-cook and hydrate the material before extrusion, giving the process more residence time and better cooking consistency.
The SPHS Series Aqua Feed Extruder is our current extruder family. It is available in two frame sizes, both with a conditioning section, forced feeding, and a variable-speed cutter. The main shaft box uses a circulating lubrication system, and imported high-quality bearings can be selected for long, continuous running.
| Model | Screw Diameter | Capacity | Main Motor | Conditioner Power | Feed Power | Cutting Device |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SPHS165 | 165 mm | 2.5 - 5 t/h | 110 - 160 kW | 15 / 18.5 kW | 1.5 / 2.2 kW | 4 kW |
| SPHS215 | 215 mm | 5 - 10 t/h | 220 - 315 kW | 22 kW | 1.5 / 3 kW | 5.5 kW |
The exact capacity depends on formula, moisture, particle size, and expansion ratio. We match the motor, conditioner, feed screw, and cutter to the production target during project design.
We configure the extruder around the actual formula rather than offering a fixed machine. The screw profile, die hole pattern, conditioner retention time, and cutter speed are selected to control expansion, bulk density, water stability, and pellet length.
For new plants, we integrate the extruder with upstream grinding and batching and downstream drying, coating, and cooling. Our engineering scope includes electrical control design, installation, and commissioning of the extrusion line. For plants already running a Pellet Mill, the extruder can be added as a separate expansion line or combined with conventional pelleting in a flexible layout.
We also develop modifications based on customer drawings, product samples, or specific process targets. This is how we treat each project as a custom solution within the Product Center range.
Goldlong operates a 14,000 m² manufacturing facility and uses ERP management to track workshop operations, equipment utilization, and quality consistency. Each extruder undergoes comprehensive inspection before shipment, covering performance, stability, safety, and full-system testing.
This direct production control is important for extrusion equipment because the conditioner, feeding, screw, and cutter must work together at operating temperature and moisture. Procurement and project teams work directly with the engineers who design, build, and test the equipment before it leaves our factory in China.
We supply extruders and complete feed projects on a turnkey basis, from process design and equipment manufacturing to installation, commissioning, and after-sales service. The project team coordinates foundations, piping, electrical connections, and startup so the line is handed over ready for production.
Our extruders and feed projects have been delivered to Russia, Romania, Indonesia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iran, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan.
To prepare a configured proposal, we use the following project inputs:
These details determine the screw configuration, motor size, die selection, conditioner capacity, and auxiliary equipment needed for the line.
The SPHS extruder can produce floating and sinking aqua feed, pet food, and poultry feed. Pellet sizes from about 1 mm to 12 mm cover shrimp, eel, bullfrog, dog, and ornamental fish recipes.
Yes. We can supply the extruder as a separate expansion line or combine it with conventional pelleting in a flexible layout. The electrical controls and line interlocks are configured to match the existing plant.
We need the target capacity, feed type, formula and raw materials, pellet size range, floating or sinking requirement, liquid additions, available utilities, and the scope of upstream and downstream equipment.
We provide installation and commissioning, operator and maintenance training, spare parts supply, remote diagnostics, follow-up service, and 24-hour rapid response support for the life of the equipment.
Each extruder is inspected for performance, stability, safety, and full-system function before shipment. During commissioning, we verify operation against the agreed capacity and pellet quality targets.
